QUANTIFYING PUBLIC VACCINATION PREFERENCES

Those interested in quantifying public vaccination preferences in other countries than those included in work package 5 of the ECOM project can use this tool as a guidance when designing their own discrete choice experiment (DCE).

BACKGROUND

This tool is based on the work that was conducted within work package 5 (Acceptance of preventive measures in epidemic outbreaks across Europe: a discrete choice experiment) of the ECOM project. Within this work package, a DCE was conducted in four European countries (the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and Sweden). For more information on the DCE, see WP5. This tool makes the design of the DCE online available to those interested in conducting the same DCE within their own country.

HOW TO USE THE TOOL

The tool uses a step-by-step approach. The guideline (a Word document) includes information on the hypothetical disease scenario, an example of a choice set, the choice sets to include in the questionnaire, between country adaptation, and translation.

Noteworthy, as the analysis of the DCE questionnaire requires specific econometric knowledge, the ECOM group could conduct the analysis for you. Please contact the author through the button below to discuss possibilities.
